Our antihum® PTZ Combo cable allows you to send power, data and a video signal down just the one cable. Perfect for PTZ installations! Using 1 cable for all 3 functions saves on installation time, material costs, running out and fixing only one cable instead of three!
We also manufacture it with an extra tough outer sheath and it's often used on building sites because of this.
Antihum® branded PTZ combo cable uses 30 x 0.15mm copper conductors for each of the power cores, TWICE the size of some of our competitor's cores! This means using antihum® cable, you can use it for TWICE the distance compared to our competitors before you get the same volt drop.
Similarly we use a 0.7mm SOLID COPPER core for the Co-ax which means again over the same cable length our video signal is up to 4X as strong as our competitors that use "copper coated" centre conductors. Its also shielded with a glued foil sheath to protect against interference. This also prevents the problem of loose foil shorting to the centre-pin.
The three cables are all contained in one outer sheath and can be easily separated to allow the power cores to be taken to a power source, the data cores to a PTZ controler leaving the RG59 to be crimped for connection to a DVR, camera or monitor. The power cores are 0.15 x 30 (0.5mm sq) stranded to prevent interruptions and are colour coded red 12V and black 0V to avoid any errors in connection. These power cores can also be used to run 24V AC.
