HDMI Extender Over Co-ax

This pair of HDMI extenders are a superb problem solver particularly on legacy CCTV installations where you need to run an HDMI signal but only have an RG59 Co-ax in place.

Ideal when you need to get a DVR output to a monitor but have no cable route for an additional HDMI lead or it is just too far for an HDMI signal to perform.

RG59 has been the standard CCTV cable for many years so this pair can easily make use of an existing run and with HDMI leads having limited performance over longer distances this is a great way to achieve up to a 100M run!

Supporting up to 1080P real-time, the pair even have a reverse IR control facility to allow control over your DVR or other devices from another room or part of the building. Each unit measures just 80x45x22mm so they can easily be fixed behind other equipment for ease of installation.

Note: This unit does not support Dolby Digital or DTS sound, as the HDM130 only supports PCM. Consult the instruction manual or manufacturer of the source device to adjust to PCM audio transmission.

Why is the image shifted to the right / left?

With HDMI transmission equipment 99.9% of all causes of non performance can be solved on site and are related to a site incompatibility, setting or cable issue.

When we test our HDM130 we will carry out our tests using a COAX cable and known 1080P source and monitor so please ensure you do the same to avoid wasting time and resources.

The issue with the image shift could be a number of different things, but most likely the input signal may be too high or incompatible.

For example, if you have bought a 1080P transmission device and you put 4K into it, it wont work. Note - If the source device was working at 1080p but was changed to 4K it would stop working, this can happen when a user changes the settings in say an NVR on a working install).

NOTE: Set the TV to the correct video input to receive the signal from the source device.

Recommended things to try;

Try and connect a different monitor - some monitors respond differently to HDMI signals.

Try to reset the screen from the monitor's menu while the hdmi is connected

Check all the monitor scaling / offset options, as these can often be adjusted to account for image warping / scaling issues.

Try a different HDMI input (if you have different multiple HDMI input options)

Try different HDMI Cables and COAX cables.

Turn EDID ON/ OFF if this is an option in the TV.
