Our customer base is truly global with over 15,000 customers in the UK and overseas, with some as far away as Australia. If people across the globe order from us it means that back home in the UK you're dealing with a company that offers terrific value for money.

As a manufacturer and distributor of CCTV equipment our aim is to serve the CCTV Installer, that is why we only support those businesses that install CCTV as their main sector of business, and that is why we have so many checks to ensure that customers are true Trade.
Our “end-user” PDF's that carry “anonymous” branding, such as the KaptureCCTV is done to assist our customers with their customers, and this is just one of the benefits we have in serving the business community.
Many of our competitors have “open” websites, so that anyone can find their products and ultimately buy from them directly.
This does not support the CCTV Installer and it is important to us that we protect and support those businesses that support us, and we genuinely want to see them grow... it's the only way we can grow!

We test the goods so you don't have to...
We don't just batch test 1 in 50 products like our competitors, we test every single one!*
In our QC Department we have a team of people who check every electronic item we sell.
They power them up, check all the functions and only on a 100% test result do they mark the item with a unique bar-coded serial number to certify their quality so that we can offer you a full history on any product we have ever sold.
So when you get a product out of a box from us you know it has been carefully checked and tested before we send it to you.
You have the satisfying knowledge that when you’re on your way to site that the product you’re carrying in the back of the van has been genuinely carefully checked to minimise as much as is physically possible the eventuality of a "dead on arrival" product.
If you want to make sure you have been sent a product that's been thoroughly checked before you get it, make sure you buy it from us!
Resolution, colour reproduction and white balance are all checked.
*We test all electronic products but obviously not cables or connectors.
Our History
System Q was established in 1994 and not long after was featured on TV with Martyn Lewis (no, not that one, the other one!). After 4 years we purchased our 2nd premises which gave us room to expand and open our first trade counter.
In 1999 we produced our first CCTV catalogue "Security Solutions" and we expanded into timelapse VCRs and multiplexers. A year later we launched the best selling Advanced-Vision camera in colour. This was quickly followed by a range of the high quality anti-hum cables as well as remote surveillance products.
From allowing users to "dial into" a property and view live CCTV images over an internet connection, we now offer Wireless CCTV, Battery Powered Wireless Cameras and Standalone Automatic Number Plate Recognition Cameras.
Over the years we've developed brand names such as Home Vision, antihum, Visiondial, ExcelPTZ, NiteDevil, alienDVR, ZippyDesktop, VoiceOFF, DoorKnox, ZipDVR and most recently, iSENSE.

Advanced-Vision is approved by Stormont, the Parliamentary seat of the Northern Ireland Assembly, to protect Police and Prison Offices in Northern Ireland.

At IFSEC'96 the Advanced-Vision is launched, with outstanding picture quality with lenses up to 12mm and can be used in a variety of situations including homes, shops and small businesses.

Out first CCTV camera is shown on TV with Martyn Lewis. No, not the MoneySaving Expert, the news presenter and reporter, and host of the primetime BBC TV series Crimebeat.
