PTZ cameras are an ideal solution for versatile coverage with a full 360° horizontal pan and 90° tilt. This allows them to cover large areas without the need for multiple cameras.
As with traditional PTZs you can set multiple preset locations and have the camera patrol automatically moving from one location to the next after a defined amount of time.
The latest, high end, PTZs such as this one now offer ‘auto tracking’ where they automatically follow an object, this could be a person or a vehicle, as they move across the cameras field of view. The camera will even zoom to the optimum level so that you have a clear image of the intruder.
Another handy feature of this PTZ is automatic boundary scanning where the camera patrols a defined perimeter. This can be triggered manually at any time or scheduled to perform the task at set times.
This camera boasts a huge IR range of up to 160m with smart IR so the strength adjusts automatically to maintain optimum IR levels.
