This Internet gateway provides remote/Internet access via P2P to IP devices without port forwarding. It's suitable for use behind many domestic and small business grade routers whereby outbound traffic is not subject to firewall restriction.

It can be powered via POE from a suitable switch/injector or a 5v micro-USB (2A) power supply.

Deployed in minutes, this device acquires an IP address via DHCP then offers a web interface through which it can be quickly and easily configured.

Originally designed to provide remote access to RTSP streams from IP cameras, DVRs and NVRs, this portal can now be used with many browser based or third party products not intended for Internet use.

The portal provides transparent routing of a primary, secondary and tertiary port, all TCP or 2xTCP and 1xUDP.

HTTP Traffic
For pure HTTP use, the portal relays traffic from the endpoint device via the Internet directly into your browser as though you were on the local network.

Bespoke Client / CCTV Software
Port remapping allows to the use of single-port configured software such as Hikvision's IVMS4200. Typically, these clients only allow you to you specify -

  • an IP address or domain name
  • a single port number (eg: 8000)
  • a username & password

The portal accepts the RTSP port as additional field, it re-routes the video stream through the single port 8000 as expected by the client software.

UDP Audio
Multicast audio used on private address ranges (such as 239.0.0.0/8) is not routed out onto the Internet so remote public announcement to multiple speakers is difficult. This portal offers a solution receiving packetised data from devices such as the VOX-MIC-100 IP microphone redistributing it via UDP on the local site potentially to multiple devices.

Remote Support
Built-in access control allows the owner to grant or deny engineer support, when enabled our staff can help and advise settings appropriate for your use case.

Subscription
This is a subscription based product, the purchase prices supports one endpoint device for 6 months.

Subsequent subscriptions are £5 per endpoint per month.

An endpoint is one entity, examples of which include: a DVR, an NVR, an IP camera, an alarm panel and so on.
