TVT Access Control Terminal with Face Recognition

The TVT access control terminal is one of the most comprehensive door entry systems available in the UK.

For ultimate security the terminal has dual cameras to create a 3D perspective so it can not be fooled by holding a photo up to the camera.

You also have the option of more traditional key fob and key card entry. Residents or staff can present their key fob or card to the door station for the door to unlock.

With an intuitive web interface managing the access control terminal is both quick and easy for site admins. Each resident/staff member has their own record which can be populated with their personal details. This is also where you assign key fobs/cards and upload their mugshot for automatic comparison if they wish to use face recognition.

Each terminal can have up to an incredible 10,000 records which should be more than enough for almost any site.

Each record can have both access methods enabled at the same time so they don’t have to worry if they have left their key fob at home.

For maximum security you can even require a combination of both methods before the door is unlocked. So unlocking the door would require a successful face match plus a swipe of a key fob or card.

The user database is stored internally on the access terminal itself so that they function as fully independent units. This allows for multiple units to be installed throughout a site with different staff members have access to different doors depending on their individual requirements. A manager may have access to all doors where as shop floor staff don’t have access to the server room for example.

For the most comprehensive access control solution the TVT access control terminals can be fully integrated into a TVT CCTV system. They still function independently as an access control terminal to an internal door, however, they can be added to the NVR as an IP camera. From here you can manage the terminal just like any other IP camera setting AI functions such as face detection or perimeter intrusion. Another huge benefit of connecting the door terminal to your NVR is that it allows you to record 24 hours a day so you never miss a thing.

Connecting the access control terminal to an NVR will also allow you to view live images and playback through the mobile app.
