This base is specifically designed for use with TD-8343IE3N PTZs and the Fisheye wall bracket TD-YZJ0409-W. It sits between the bracket and the wall to allow for terminations at this point so you only need to drill holes big enough to feed the cable through.
Deep bases help disguise extra cabling and connections, resulting in a neat and professional finish. This is especially beneficial in environments where aesthetics are important.
