The sun and rain shield adds extra protection against the elements and reduces glare for optimal performance
Sun and rain shields are highly recommended when installing doorbell cameras externally as they help protect against environmental conditions.
The shield prevents rain droplets on the lens obscuring the cameras vision. As it surrounds the doorbell it also adds an extra layer of ingress protection which could increase the lifespan of the camera too.
It also shades the lens against direct sunlight reducing glare ensuring the camera’s efficiency on sunny days.
Note: This sun/rain shield is designed for use with the TVT TD-E3110 doorbell cameras only.
