As with traditional PTZs you can set multiple preset locations and have the camera patrol automatically moving from one location to the next after a defined amount of time.

The latest, high end, PTZs such as this one now offer ‘auto tracking’ where they automatically follow an object, this could be a person or a vehicle, as they move across the cameras field of view. The camera will even zoom to the optimum level so that you have a clear image of the intruder.

This camera boasts dual IR and white light plus low light technology for ultimate 24/7 performance. The camera requires little more than starlight to retain a colour image and even if this not enough the white lights kick-in automatically ensuring a colour image.

You can also enable the white lights to only trigger when motion is detected. This coupled with the auto tracking function makes for a highly effective night time deterrent. It creates the effect of a security light following the intruder around the scene so they are fully aware that they are being monitored.
