No matter what alarm system you’ve seen before, the VIAS is better than it. And, quite frankly, by a country mile …

First of all, because the control panel can be accessed through local WiFi as well as the internet, the system even works in areas with no internet.

Naturally it doesn’t communicate with any connected devices via standard home WiFi protocols. The VIAS system uses ultra smart, ultra secure U-net 5.0 wireless with powerful AES-128 encrypted 2-way communication.

Talking of devices, you can connect up to a staggering 160 of them to your VIAS control panel, with the full range including:

✓ Motion sensors – indoor, outdoor and with, or without camera
✓ Curtain detectors – detects intruders as they approach the window
✓ Magnetic contacts – secure your windows and doors

Moreover, all devices are wireless, making them easy to install or move.

Should mains power be disrupted, the alarm switches to its integrated rechargeable lipo battery for your uninterrupted protection. With over 12 hours battery life, you don’t have to worry how long the power cut will last.

Every component of your VIAS Smart Alarm is made to the rigid Grade 2 EN50131 security standard – this means preferential rates for your customers’ household insurance. And the control panel boasts tamper protection and anti-jamming detection to prevent any unauthorised access or attempts to disable it.

Whilst full system monitoring is provided by the free – and subscription free – VIAS app, you can opt for remote 24/7 emergency monitoring – for this your control panel uses the highly respected Security Industry Association’s DC09 standard.

During day to day use, you can control your system with:

• The free VIAS app
• Your voice using the Siri and / or Google Home Kits
• In-home keypad or remote fob

The app, of course, sends you automatic notifications for recorded events – for example, sensors being tripped or attempted jamming detected.

Your VIAS Control panel does more than look after your home …

… it can control your home.

Imagine your lights coming on while your curtains and blinds close just as it’s getting dark – automatically. Or your living room lights dimming to give you that “big screen” effect as you watch your favourite film or the big match. And your home is always at the right temperature because your control panel monitors and adjusts your heating.

What’s more it’s not just “hard wired” equipment you can automate. VIAS Smart Plugs give you control over any electrical item in your home. For example, your fan can be blowing a cooling breeze through your kitchen just as you arrive home from work.

All connected devices report back to the VIAS app on your phone. From here you can control each of them, set rules on how you want them to behave – by scheduled automation, or after a trigger by a particular
event.

Plus the app lets you see the power consumption of every device. Then you can use scheduled activations to save more energy … and you money.

And for your safety if overheating or power overloads are detected, the control panel will immediately shut the device down and alert you.

And all this is why the VIAS Standard Control Panel allows you to connect, monitor and record the live feed from up to four cameras.

You’re not restricted to a small range of cameras either. Any IP camera is compatible so you’re able to choose the features best suited to your needs.

Access all your recorded video from the VIAS app. If ever there’s an alert, you can set the system to send you a push video notification of the event.

The app also enables you to move to preset points, move a PTZ camera, zoom in on an image and check the list of recorded events.

There are two different VIAS control panels:

• The “Lite” version is perfect if you only want an alarm. It records triggered events from PIR cameras which are saved to an SD card.
• For 24/7 continuous CCTV recording the standard model has hard drive storage.

No matter which model you choose, the SD card or hard drive is inside the control panel unit. So even if cameras are damaged or the internet connection interrupted, your videos remain safely stored.
